Tui - East India Pale Ale

Actually quite good. Gorgeous dark colour, extremely high drinkability.

Something of a cult classic, originally brewed in Mangatainoka, which is sort of over the hill from Palmerston North - and guess what they have in PN?.. Yes, Massey University. So, students and a brewery, a recipe for success, indeed. They've now been bought out, and most production is handled in Auckland, the purists (eg. my uncle Alan) say it's nothing like the same thing. I'm sure that's completely true, but it's still good.

Another point, the TV adverts are really good - much better than other NZ beer adverts, can anyone say "RED MEN"?.. Gaah.
