In old Cuba, it was common place for cigar rollers to be entertained with the reading from stories and books to break up what was typically a long day. One such story that was a favorite among the factory workers was the tale of the Count of Montecristo. Legend has it, that the reading of this story is what paved the way for the Montecristo brand.
