Ashton Cigars
The
name "Ashton" is homage to a
venerable English pipe
maker. The roots of Ashton
began as a manufacturing
collaboration with the
renowned Fuente family, and
has taken the brand to new
heights of acclaim. In 1985,
Robert Levin, the son of a
Philadelphia tobacconist
turned a dream of creating
his own premium cigar brand
into reality. More than 20
years later, with decades of
comprehensive experience in
all facets of the industry,
the fruits of his knowledge
are borne out in the
consistently high quality of
Ashton Cigars. The Classic Series is famed for its unerring consistency. Buttressed by a seamless blend of 3-4 year old Dominican tobacco filler and enveloped in a light Connecticut shade wrapper, this medium intensity blend never disappoints. With a multiplicity of shapes and sizes, this is anything but a one size fits all line of cigars. Those preferring a more compact smoke will relish such small package delights as Mini Cigarillos, Senoritas and Esquires, while at the opposite end of the spectrum sit the popular Churchill and Prime Minister sizes, as well as a many other big sellers.
The Cabinet Series is the finished product of an exacting seven-year process from seed to smoke. Its known as the White Burgundy of cigars, so-called for its process aging in French oak barrels producing a luscious, creamy taste. Presented in elegant cedar cabinets, the sticks 4-5 year aged blend of six, rich Dominican tobaccos is complemented by the milky flavor of an aged Connecticut Shade wrapper.
For those seeking a smoke
with an intense powerful
flavor, the Virgin Sun Grown
series more than fits the
bill. This cigars distinct
full-bodied character is
derived from its dark
Ecuadorian extra ligero
wrapper, grown exclusively
for the VSG series on the
private estate of the Oliva
family.

Highlighted by its rare, seductively dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, the Aged Maduro series possesses a taste that morphs from initially sweet into an artistically textured smoking experience. Presented in a refined varnished cabinet, Aged Maduro is for the discriminating smoker.
An adventurously innovative company, Ashton produces niche cigars to appeal to sublime and sophisticated tastes. The Heritage Puro Sol separates itself from the pack with its smooth Cameroon wrapper initially hand selected by the late West African tobacco seed preservationist Richard Meerapfel.
An anniversary cigar, the
rare Estate Sun Grown blend,
is produced in limited
quantities and sold by the
stick with one new size to
be rolled out each year
until 2010. Boasting an
exclusive blend concocted by
Carlos Fuente Jr, the ESG is
a forcefully exquisite
smoking experience,
underscoring the excellence
that is Ashton.
