British furniture designer Jake Phipps is the artist who created these bullet-casing stools.
Whilst their design varies enormously in style, shape and complexity, the design for the object of delivery, the cartridge, has barely changed since the early part of the 19th century. The shell stool mirrors the look of a spent ammunition cartridge.
